We use a whole range of cloud TMS platforms and CAT tools to manage localization processes. Our main platform is Crowdin, but we can also work with other popular solutions as the client requires.

As well as Crowdin, we also use TMS platforms such as: GitLocalize, Phrase (Memsource), Lokalise, Memoq, Smartcat, Transifex, OneSky, and PoEditor, and we can explore other options at your request.

The cost depends on several factors:

• The volume of the translation (the number of words)
• The complexity of the texts
• The number of localization languages
• Localization testing (if required)
• The deadlines for the project

We integrate with TMS (translation management systems). The TMS automatically extracts content from your project, sends it to Inlingo for translation via API, receives the completed translations in turn, and integrates them into the localized versions of the project. This completely automates the localization process, eliminating the need to exchange files manually.

Furthermore, the system ensures that the same terms and phrases are always translated the same way, which ensures consistency of translation.

The translators at InlingoApps are native speakers of the target language with localization experience. Before starting work on a project, our linguists undergo a selection process based on the following key criteria:

• They are native speakers of the language they are translating into.
• They have at least two years’ experience localizing software, games, and apps.

How we select translators:

• Each candidate performs a test translation of around 500 words. These include interface text, code, and marketing texts.
• Our editors check their work. Different types of error are assessed.
• Our team individually selects providers with relevant experience for each project.

Only after they have gone through every stage of the selection process are translators assigned work at InlingoApps.

Our team comprises more than 1300 linguists with different areas of expertise. We try to assign one and the same translators to your project, as this helps in maintaining a cohesive style and terminology in updates.

At InlingoApps, we follow a well-established localization process that we adapt to the specific requirements of each project. This is what the main stages look like:

• Ordering

• Appointing a project manager

A personal manager who will lead the project is assigned to you. They will contact you to collect information about the project, clarify your requirements, and calculate the cost and deadlines.

• Selecting a team of linguists

The project leader will select a team of translators and editors with experience in your particular field.

• Performing the translation

The translators start work on your project. They use specialist CAT tools, with a TM (translation memory) and approved glossary. The entire translation process takes place on an online platform.

• Editing and quality checking

After the translation is completed, the project is passed to the editor. They proofread and correct the translation.

• Compiling localized files

The translated and proofread texts are compiled together into localized files or the build of your product.

• Language testing

The localized version of your product is fully tested. The accuracy of the translation is checked in the interface or content.

• Functionality testing

A final test of the functionality of the localized version of your product under different conditions is performed.

• Revisions

Any minor errors or discrepancies revealed during testing are corrected by the translators. Major errors are recorded and submitted to your developers.

• Project submission

After all tests are completed, the localized version of the product is officially submitted to the client.
